 Prescription Drug Take Back Day

A Success!

The most recent prescription drug Take Back Day was held Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Diamond Run Mall in Rutland. These events help reduce potential misuse of prescription drugs when community members bring their unused, unwanted, or expired medications to this DEA Sponsored event. Officers from the Rutland County Sheriff's Department take possession of theprescriptions and safely and effectively dispose of them.

CHECK BACK SOON to see how many pounds of drugs were collected!

Did you miss the Take Back Day? Do you still have prescriptions you want to dispose of safely and effectively?

RAP THANKS YOU!

A special thank you to all those who work to reduce access of substances to underage youth. As part of a partnership with the Department of Liquor Control, RAP would like to give a shout out to our local retailers who do their job responsibly, check ID's, and don't sell alcohol and tobacco to minors. The following individuals did the right thing and passed their DLC compliance check in March, 2016. THANK YOU FOR BEING PART OF THE SOLUTION IN RUTLAND COUNTY!
