RCYC Fundraiser a Big Success! On Tuesday, March 3rd from 4-7PM, members of the Rutland County Youth Council held a McDonald’s Night Fundraiser at the McDonald’s Restaurant on South Main Street in Rutland. Many people attended this fun event and in addition to food sales, there was a 50/50 raffle and a movie night basket raffle! Everyone was very supportive and the Youth Council members worked very hard to sell tickets, advertise outside (in the very cold weather) to draw in customers, and more! The funds raised will be used to support youth violence and substance abuse prevention projects in Rutland County! RCYC would like to thank McDonald’s Restaurant, the winner of the 50/50 raffle who generously donated the winnings back to the Youth Council, and Envision Technology Advisors, who matched up to $300.00 of the evenings profits! Your support is greatly appreciated! |
